This is a series of 7 sessions, concentrating on giving handlers and dogs confidence out there in the real world.
We all want our pets to be well behaved and sociably acceptable, and have fun with them at the same time. In this course we explore ways we can help our dogs understand what is expected of them and for humans to gain some insight into the needs of our pet dogs, and how to educate them to be a joy to have around.
We review and practice some of the basic behaviors such as down, sit, stay, and coming back when asked, as well as walking nicely on the lead, and meeting and greeting people and other dogs.
We create challenge courses and obstacles for the dog’s to gain in confidence with.
Each session builds on the previous, and the course is adapted to meet the needs of both the handlers and the dogs.
We hold these sessions on Sunday afternoons, at secure farm paddocks near Hilton. The next course of 7 sessions starts on March 5th, and there are limited spaces. So if you would like to find out more or book a place, please contact me by email or telephone 01954 212787.
